Retina is neurosensory layer of eye which is present inside & at the back of eye. It is formed by seeing an Image, which is converted to nerve signals and transferred to the brain. Hence a person with a normal eye but with a retinal disease will have poor vision. At Abhinav Eye Care & Laser centre we adopt a wide range of techniques to diagnose  abnormality of the retinal layer.

Our Retina Diagnostic procedures

[Diabetic Retinopathy] DR is common vascular retinal disease which is affecting about 40% of type 1 diabetics and 20% of type 2 diabetics. The Duration of diabetes is the most important risk factor for the doctor.

Treatment for DR includes Laser photocoagulation, Intra-ocular injections (Lucentis) and Surgical Treatment.

Retinal Detachment [RD] is disorder of eye in which retina peels away from its underlying layer of support tissue & can lead to the loss of vision and may be blindness. It is called as a medical emergency.
